Usually when people pray they ask God for something. It’s natural to seek for happiness and happiness has a different meaning in every mind. As if we are never satisfied with whatever we have. See if we consider the Divine as a father, it’s quite natural to ask him for something. But if we mad enough to consider the same Divine as a child, surely we will care and love him…hmmm
See you cannot ask for comfort, because comfort brings boredom and discomfort..
We can’t ask him to fulfill our desires, because desires whether fulfilled or unfulfilled brings frustration..
We can’t ask for only good times, because it is the tough times that make us appreciate joy..
We cannot ask him to make you rich or famous or powerful, because they can all be pathways to misery..
